Window film & glass work in Bandra West
Bandra West gives us two very different jobs. Sea-facing flats along Bandstand and Carter Road need heat and salt-resistant film on large west windows. Pali Hill and the lanes behind are older bungalows and low-rise blocks where the work is more often decorative glass, mirrors and privacy film. Hill Road and Linking Road retail fills the rest.

- What film works best for a sea-facing flat at Bandstand?
- A high-TSER nano-ceramic film with high visible light transmission. Sea-facing glass here takes the full western sun off the water, but darkening the view defeats the point of the flat. Ceramic film separates the heat from the light in a way that older dyed or metallic films could not.
- Do you work on heritage bungalows in Pali Hill?
- Yes, and they need a lighter touch. Older glazing is often thinner, unevenly set and sometimes original, so we assess thermal stress risk before specifying anything dark — a high-absorption film on old glass can crack it. Usually we go with a clear UV or light heat-rejecting film there.
