Car Window Tinting
Cooler cabin. Less glare. Sharper finish.
Mumbai's traffic-locked afternoons turn car cabins into ovens. Automotive window film cuts heat and UV while reducing glare that causes eye strain on long commutes. We precision-cut film for all car models — sedans, SUVs, hatchbacks, and commercial vehicles — using automotive-grade film certified under Indian road standards. Installation is clean, bubble-free, and typically completed in 3–4 hours.
We carry a range of automotive films from light-neutral options that comply with road transport regulations to performance-grade ceramic films for maximum heat rejection. Each film is cut using digital templates for the exact car model, ensuring clean, seamless edges on curved rear windows. All installations come with a care instruction card. We also offer re-tinting for cars where old film has bubbled, peeled, or discoloured.

Common questions
What is the legal tint limit for car windows in India?+
The Motor Vehicles Act requires a minimum Visible Light Transmission (VLT) of 70% for front windshields and 50% for front side windows. Rear windows and the rear windshield can be tinted darker in most states. We advise clients on legal shades and only apply road-legal film.
How long does car window tinting take in Andheri?+
Most cars are completed in 3–4 hours at our Andheri workshop. SUVs and larger vehicles with more glass area may take up to 5–6 hours. We typically schedule appointments in the morning so your car is ready the same afternoon.
Can you remove old bubbled or peeled car window film?+
Yes — old film removal and re-tinting is a common request. We remove the old film cleanly, clean off adhesive residue, and apply fresh film. The result looks as good as new. Removal is done the same day as re-tinting in most cases.
Does car window tint affect visibility at night?+
Darker shades can reduce night visibility, especially from rear windows. We recommend lighter shades (50–70% VLT) for daily commuters who drive at night in Mumbai's mixed street lighting. Ceramic films maintain better night visibility at equivalent heat rejection compared to dyed films.
Which is better — ceramic or dyed car window film?+
Ceramic film is higher performance — it rejects more heat without dark dye, maintains better colour stability over time, and doesn't interfere with GPS or mobile signals. Dyed films are more affordable but fade faster. For Mumbai's daily driving conditions, we generally recommend ceramic.
How long should I wait to roll down windows after tinting?+
At least 3–5 days in Mumbai's humidity. Rolling windows down too soon can peel the edges before the adhesive has fully cured. We provide written care instructions with every automotive tinting job.
