Window film & glass work in Kandivali East
Kandivali East's Thakur Village and Thakur Complex are newer high-rise developments with much larger glass areas than the older Kandivali stock, which changes the brief — heat gain through big windows is the main complaint, and higher floors get unshaded sun all day. Lokhandwala Township adds a similar profile.

Explore→Kandivali East questions
- Do higher floors in Thakur Village need stronger film?
- Often, yes. Upper floors get unshaded sun for far longer than lower floors that neighbouring buildings shade for part of the day, so we usually specify a higher heat-rejection grade above the tenth floor or so. We assess floor by floor rather than quoting one film for the whole building.
- Can film go on balcony sliding doors?
- Yes — large sliding glass doors are among the biggest heat sources in these towers, and they're straightforward to film. The one thing to note is the cure period: leave the doors as they are for a few days after fitting so the edges bond fully before the panels slide against each other.
